Dominican Republic Missions Trip

MCC family, I am excited to announce our first foreign missions/service trip to the Dominican Republic on October 7-14, 2017. We will be serving with CURE international. CURE’s mission is “healing the sick and proclaiming the kingdom of God”. They have hospitals and programs in “29 countries worldwide where patients experience the life-changing message of God’s love for them, receiving surgical treatment regardless of gender, religion, or ethnicity”.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to partner with CURE at their Dominican Republic hospital in Santo Domingo this fall. During this week-long trip we will spend much of our time serving and interacting with the children and staff in the hospital. We will also partner with the local church and have other ministry opportunities within the surrounding community.

The cost for the trip will be $1,000 (includes meals, accommodations, in-country transportation, travel medical insurance, and administrative fee) plus airfare. There are obviously many more details that could be given, but for the sake of time and space for this post if you have any interest in learning more about this awesome missions and service trip, please sign up here.

Our great commission is to go into the nations and make disciples. This trip is going to be a great opportunity for us to serve the sick and bring the love of Jesus to the precious children this hospital is serving. I hope many of you will take the first step by signing up for more information and attending the informational meeting!

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
